Ali has over 20 years of experience advising international clients in corporate, commercial, private client, banking and finance and intellectual property law.

Described by his clients as “outstanding” in the Legal 500, Ali was the only “Leading Individual” listed in intellectual property.  He also comes “highly recommended” by his clients, who include leading law firms, private clients, high-net-worth individuals and global businesses that describe him as “delightful to work with”, “logical and analytical” in his problem-solving approach to providing highly commercial solutions.

Ali has an MA from the University of Oxford, and he is admitted as a Solicitor (England and Wales).  In 2000, Ali started his career at leading law firm Hogan Lovells, where he worked in the firm’s London and Brussels offices.  During his tenure, he advised a range of international, Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 clients.  In 2005, he was appointed Legal Counsel at Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) in Dubai.  He Co-founded LegalBase in 2008.
